I am so glad I had the chance to read this wonderful book for many reasons.

One – I love San Francisco and the Golden Gate Bridge.  The history throughout the books was great even though I have been to the bridge and read all the information around the iconic bridge.  It was wonderful to read it from the workers and families point of view.

Two – A strong female character that wanted to help everyone and to make her family proud of her.

Three – History.  The book is set in 1936 during the great depression.

Four - A new author for me to explore.

So thank you to NetGalley and the publisher for the chance to read Amy Trueblood’s great story.

The book is in Wilhelmina “Willa” MacCarthy point of view at 18-year-old young Irish Catholic girl with dreams.  But her dreams and her parent's dreams are...

It’s so wonderful to be back in Maple Glen again with the Mitchell family as we follow the stories of this community. In this book, the story is about Charlie Mitchell and Autumn Martin but like all the books in this series, we will get an update about the other characters we have already fallen in love with and the ones that have yet to tell us their story. This is a feel-good sweet romance that will leave you wanting more of these people and the town. It can be read as a stand-alone but to get the full effect I would suggest you read the series to appreciate the author's intent to share these wonderful characters with us.

Christina Butrum has given us a small town that to me I can in visioned with characters that feel real in situations that most of us can relate to in this crazy world we...

I was sitting on the edge of my seat a few time during this read as my emotions were fighting for the safe and happy ending. This is my first read by this author Rebecca Hartt, Christian romance is not my goto genre but this one had my total interest from the start to the very end. It was full of sweetness, grief, forgiveness, hope, danger, doubt, trust, military, suspense but most of all love.

What a great romantic comedy this book was, I was a bit unsure at the beginning but it quickly grabbed my attention. This enemies to lovers romance is full of so much witty banter between the characters and the dialogues is utterly hilarious you will be LOL as I was.

Clara Montgomery has been down on her luck of late as she has lost her publishing job in New York, is living with her younger brother on his couch and has had to resort to cleaning out storage units to make ends meet. Can she get any lower???

It's crazy the things you find in forgot storage units, but one thing that Clara and her BFF find will lead Clara down a very different path and make her look at life a little bit differently.

The sexy British actor, Caspian Tiddleswich gets a voice message that will bring his past back to...

What a lovely book by a First-time Author to me this was even though I have had a few of her books sitting on my Kindle for some time.  It has always been her book covers that draw me into her books even without reading a word before.  You can rest ashore I will be reading more of her books now that I have the first-hand experience of her writing and storytelling ability to draw the reader into her wonderful land of the late 1880s.  This book is told by many different POV's but I love that about this book as I feel the story had more depth and knowledge by her writing in this format.

This Victorian Historical Romance will have you busy keeping up with all the characters and dramas that will unfold in Brightshire Kent England.  Duke of Brightshire. Beranger and Duchess Emma have ar...

What a lovely tribute this book is to all the women of the Australian Women’s Land Army.  This story will draw you straight into the 1940’s world as we meet three young ladies from very different walks of life living in Melbourne, Sydney and Adelaide.   The author’s reference to this era was wonderful and in my mind very accurate to everything I have ever read or watched about this time in our history.  You could almost feel the pain and anguish the girls here experienced during this book, with there up and down while doing the part in the war efforts.  They wanted to do their part to help both the soldiers and their country so it may enable their loved ones to return safely and sooner.

This is the second book that I have read by this author and I must say I have very much e...

Release day read.  I love how so many of Judith's books are set at the seaside, as it always gives me a holiday feel about them.  It's time to return to the Seashell Cottage for another wonderful and emotional story of love and happiness.  This is a very sweet and moving story of broken dreams, friendship, family, dreams, inspiration, determination and most of all love.  I enjoyed the book but did feel that the story was a little bit slow in the middle and some paragraphs were filled up with un-necessary topics to lengthen the time frame during the book.  But in saying all that I did like the fact that the relationship between the two main characters was a natural one that formed over a longer time frame than most books gives us.  There were so many other great and wonderful characters in...

How sweet it is to be back in Wishful and to have this friends to lovers romance story by one of my favourite authors to read on my lazy Sunday off work.  This book can be read as a stand-alone or part of the series as all books within the “Wishful Series” are.  If you love your books just like me with heartache, chemistry, strong male and female characters, strong writing styles, loving communities, small-town kindness, captivating plots, page-turner, sexy males, friendships, emotions, enjoyable but most of all totally entertaining Kait Nolan is the author for you.  “Dancing Away With My Heart” is about how unrequited love as a teenager can play a very large part in your life then and now.

Lexi Morales returns home to look after her injured mother for a few weeks and one of the f...

This book was just so addictive that I could not put it down even when the clock shinned 1.55am but my eyelids finally got their own way.  Lucky for me, I had the next morning off work so I could emerge myself back into this great book set in the Northern Territory small town called Elsie Creek.  I had the pleasure of visiting the Northern Territory last year, so consequently, I had a very vivid picture of what the author was describing during this story even without the personal experience the vivid description draw a wonderful picture on its own.

Mel A. Rowe has the ability to always grab my attention with her great writing style, relatable characters and the speed of how her stories flow.  The Australian Rural second chance Romance will have you holding your breath at mom...
