This was a really sweet romance novella in the Magnolias and Moonshine series set in the South. This is book 19 in this series and the first one I have read. I enjoyed this novella very much and as it was also my first book of Shan Hatfield I have read. If you are a fan of "Gone with the Wind" novels you will love this book. This book is sweet, funny, loving and has you wanting to stay at Magnolia Rose Plantation yourself by the end of the book or by the 2nd chapter. The Question is; can you follow your dream and have it all? Tara Tarleton was named after the book “Gone with the Wind” which was her mother’s favourite book; Tara’s dream was to go to the south. And then when she was offered a job for one month on a Southern Plantation “Magnolia Rose Plantation” as a pastry chef she was over the moon. At the Magnolia plantation they have an event called the “Living History” where quests stayed for the month and lived as they would have in the past even wearing period clothing. Tara has many features like Miss Scarlett from “Gone with the Wind” and was asked to play her one afternoon for the quests. Tara thinks Brett is just another cowboy, but what is he hiding?Brett Cutler has been working and helping on the Magnolia Rose Plantation for many years during the Living History events. When Brett first saw Tara at the plantation, he was taken with her; he was in luck to be her Saviour one Sunday in town. Brett falls hard and fast for this girl which surprises even himself. The two are very attracted to each other and spend a lot of their spare time together, but as end the month comes around, how well will they both react when it’s time for Tara to return home.I total enjoyed this book that I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader of.
