Kait Nolan has done it again an extremely emotional love story about a second chance at life. This book evokes so many emotions from childhood memories to make the most of every day you have. This book is part 9 of a series of books called “Camp Firefly Falls”. This is the first book I have read in the series but after reading this one I want to go take a look at the others. I received a free copy of the book and have voluntarily written an honest review. Kait Nolan characters are just so lovable and her writing makes you feel like you are right there in the story with them. They cry, you cry, they are laughing, and so are you, once I pick up one of her books I don’t want to put it down until I have lived the story with them.
Hudson and Audrey are two very amazing characters that are so matched to each other and both have strong and tragic history, but fate has brought them together to help each other live a more fulfilling life. Audrey is a very determined, brave and strong young lady that did not have a typical childhood, so after recovering from her accident she is determined to live and experience new things. Off she goes to an Adult summer camp with her best Sam to do the things she missed out on as a child. Hudson is a fire-fighter who is grieving and overcoming a workplace accident where he believes he should not have walked away from alive. He mum makes him return to his childhood summer camp know for adults to try to find himself again.
These two meet and find out is this is not the first time they have to meet each other? They are both attracted to each other but both fight the attraction and there feeling believing they are not worthy of anybody needing or caring for them. The emotions and journey these two go on is so sweet, sad, uplifting and loving you just want to keep reading more. They have 2 weeks together at the summer camp will this just be a summer camp fling?
This nostalgic feelings book will warm your heart. Audrey is such an inspirational character and Hudson may not think he's worthy of love anymore, but his actions speak louder than his words when it comes to Audrey. Audrey will help Hudson in ways they both will not fully understand at first.
