As I started reading this book it brought back so many memories of my Canada trip last year. I just love Vancouver and the island area in which the author’s description was very vivid in my mind as I read. This is the first book of Susan Fox I have read and I just love it so much. It was lovely to read a full book where you feel like the characters have taken the normal amount of time to get to know each other. The story has many different messages unfolded in this great story from love, childhood drama, rebellion, struggles, illness, a search for missing person, intrigue, family commitment, and growth.
Eden Blaine is the eldest and dependable daughter that goes on a search for her sick mother to find her lost Aunt. She was last heard from 50 years ago on Destiny Island after she ran away from her family in Ottawa. The last thing Eden was looking for was a sexy pilot and any kind of romantic relationship.
Aaron Gabriel owns his own business and is happy with his life as it is known after his troubled childhood. He loves life on the lovely little island and is a happy bachelor with no need for a happily ever after life. He is very intrigued with one of his passengers on his fight and soon finds himself offering to help her search for her missing Aunt in the hope of having a fling and showing the uptight lawyer how to relax and a bit of fun.
Eden agrees to have a causal relationship with this interesting man after sparks fly when they first meet and keep getting stronger each day. She could try a rebound fling after her breakup form long time boyfriends a while ago, but this is not her normal move to have a non committed relationship with a man.
Can opposite personalities see past their differences to find what they both need? Or will family duty and commitments keep them apart?
I received a free copy of the book and have voluntarily written an honest review. I can't wait to read the next chapter in this great new series "Blue Moon Harbor".
