The Soulmate starts up where The Chosen left us with Sadie and Emmaline fighting for their freedom and life. Will Dravon and James be able to say their soulmates? This book is suspenseful has they try to get away from Jasper who wants to stop The Chosen one from completing the ceremony with her Soulmate, Protector, and Healer. The author's description of the different world is very vivid for me and the emotions of the characters had me feeling their pain while on the edge of my seat trying to read faster to see what was going to happen next, but at the same time wanting to take in every word she wrote. I received a free copy of this book and have voluntarily written an honest review. If you love to read about witches, wolves, fae, and vampires coming together to save their supernatural word you need to read this series from the start at “The Chosen” before reading this one as would be more enjoyable.
Sadie is Emmaline’s healer and has not turned 17 years old yet but she soon learns about her supernatural powers as she is kidnapped by the evil Jasper who want to and the lives of the supernatural world to be with his one true love in the ever after.
Emmaline has to fight and learn her new powers at the same times understand her strong connection with her soulmate Dravon who becomes her very reason for living. Dravon is connected to Emmaline for life and his life is only continuing due to Emmaline ability to keep him alive. But without her presents what will happen to Dravon without her to complete the Soulmate ceremony to the end?
This book finished on a cliff-hanger again to have all eager to read the next volume in this great series.
