Hi everyone this is my first review of an Audiobook. Is there any subscribers out there that love to read audiobooks?
This was my very first audiobook and I am still unsure if I like them. I am a lover of reading so for me it was very strange to listen to a book. The Narrator Amy McFadden did a great job on the different voices but I found it hard to get my head around the characters if I was not fully concentrating. I have read a lot of Kait Nolan book and I totally enjoy reading them. I would not say I have fallen in love with audiobooks but for some people and some situations they would be great.
As I have read other books in the Wishful series I was familiar with some of the charters already. This book is about the historical Madrigal theatre and how the community tries to save it. The last production being the “White Christmas” is the last –ditch effort in the hope of saving the theatre. Tyler Edison has decided this is the product that will bring her out of her performing retirement. She had given up acting, singing and dancing over 8 years when Brodie Jensen left town and abandoned her.
Brodie was finally home after years of traveling the world for work and it was work that had brought him back. He had many loose ends in town are family home to the sale and Tyler Edison memories still holding a place in his hometown. When he learned of the production he decided to audition thinking his leading lady of his pass would be long gone by now.
What will happen when they both find out they are in the production of “White Christmas”?
Can they have a second chance at love?
Can they save the historic theatre?
What will Brodie do when his work is over will he leave town and Tyler again?
The is another great Wishful book that makes you want more of this great little town and the community we are learning a lot about.
I was gifted this audiobook and this is my voluntary and honest review. You can get this book in an Ebook a well.
