This is the fourth book in the Aspen Cove series to which I have read them all. It is a standalone book, but I recommend reading the series as you will get the whole small towns to feel. This book was hilarious with the delightful dialogue and banter between the main the characters. . I received an ARC copy of this book and this is my honest and voluntary review of it.
Dr. Lydia Nichols is a 32-year-old doctor that we have met before in book one in which her sister Sage moved to Aspen Cove and found her Happy Ever After and a place to call home. Lydia has come back to town to help out while she is between jobs and has no plan to say in this little town any longer than she must.
Wes Covington is a divorced man that call Aspen Cove home and has no plans on leaving the place where he has found wanting he most wants in life. He has changed in the world and found peace and a job he loves to do with a kind community to help.
This is a romance where opposites attract and hearts are mended along the way. Lydia’s first day at Doc’s surgery is a complete change to the busy Denver ER and Lydia finds the day very mundane until a very sexy man walks in with blood all over his shirt.
Wes does not give a great first impression when he first meets the new doctor in town, but he is totally impressed with the way she looks. She is sweet, sexy, compassionate and a smart ass to him she is a perfect woman. When an opportunity to speed more time with her he takes it but he soon learns she can’t wait to leave town. He is looking for a forever woman but she is looking for something for just now.
