I must say I am loving the Everest brothers but Hutton is the ultimate man for me, he had me falling in love with him with is honesty and loving caring words. During the book he lets his vulnerability fall to get the girl of his dreams. Their love was not distant to be any more than a short fling, but the deeper they both got the harder it was to make a clean break. This story is a modern day fairy-tale that will hook you into the very end with you wanting so much more but feeling satisfied at the same time. Being bad has never felt so good for Hutton and Ally but doing the right thing just might be the hardest thing they have to do. It was a fun, sexy and a swoon-worthy read with the chemistry between Hutton and Ally heating up the pages.
Ally was a very strong young lady that knew what she wanted and what was expected of her all her life but when Hutton walked into the bar she should have known life would change. I loved her character and the way she fort for what she believed in. I received an ARC copy of this book and this is my voluntary and honest review of this wonderful book. I am looking forward to reading Bennett’s story in the future as I just can’t get enough of the Everest brothers.
I am not going to give you a rundown of the plot just list some of my favourite passages if read.
Ally’s thoughts of Hutton
Giving, caring, patient, loving, kind, respectful, Hardworking, Intelligent, supportive. I love the way he challenges me. He treats me with honor while also treating me as an equal.
Hutton’s thoughts of Ally
I love her, her spontaneity, her thoughtfulness, I love the anger that dives her.
Determination, Passion, whiplash moods, I love everything about her.
"I could write poetry about Hutton Everest's ass. As a matter of fact, I have. Roses are red. Violets are blue. I want to bite his ass and squeeze it too. I didn't say it was good poetry. Just an ode to sort of thing."
"There's nothing rational about we've become so fast, but it doesn't scare me. Time is a number. I'm good with numbers and facts."
“Hutton Everest is trying to kill me one suit at a time. Seeing that fine wool fitted to his athletic build is a glorious way to die.”
"This time, I'm not leaving anything to chance because we may have been fate, but it's up to us to create our destiny."
"If our relationship is doomed to go up in flames, we might as well be the ones who start the fire."
"Hutton Everest is a bright knight in my dark nights."
“Relationships are messy.”
~~~Being Bad Never Felt So Good~~~
Being bad never felt so good.
I fell for Ally the moment I saw her. Who doesn’t like a confident, intelligent woman with curves I could spend days exploring?
Who am I kidding?
Our story ended abruptly when she packed her bags and left like we weren’t meant to be. We are. So I’m calling her bluff. That’s how I ended up thousands of miles from home, standing next to a man who claims to be her fiancé.
Being good has never felt so bad.
When it comes to a successful man with an incredible body and biteable jaw aka Hutton . . . let’s just say willpower is not my strong suit.
Try bad-boy American.
Embracing my newfound good girl status, I do the right thing to start my reign. My desires no longer matter. The monarchy, the people, and my country do. There is no place for love in this new life.
But I never expected to see him again, much less standing next to my royally appointed soon-to-be fiancé.
As if that didn’t complicate things, he’s wearing a perfectly tailored tuxedo and my favorite smirk. I straighten my crown and adjust my dress, realizing this good girl never stood a chance. I’ll take the bad reputation if I get him.
