Who does not love a second chance romance? They have not seen each other for over nine years to which life has dramatically changed for both of them but these changes were not all good. This is book two of “The Accidental Billionaires” but book one for me. I enjoyed the book but did have some questions as to Skye’s behaviour in the early part of the books as I learned more about her later on I did question some of her actions. There were enough secrets, emotional turmoil, alpha male, heart-warming moments, tension, hatred, sorrow, forgiveness and love to keep me tapping the Kindle to read more. As per normal J S Scott heats the pages up and gives us what we need in a wonderful story that I would recommend to others.
Our Alpha male was Aiden Sinclair a once poor young man doing his best for his family how had his heart broken at age 26 by a still too young 18-year-old. He had plans for their future but he kept them to himself as he left for two months on a fishing boat to earn money for his brothers and sisters. He turned home to find his love had married another man, a rich man, she had left without a word to him and he was broken but did not search for answers. His future changed in many ways he later comes into an inheritance that made him and his sibling Billionaires.
Skye Weston had returned home to Citrus Beach in California with her daughter after she divorced he dinner tar ex-husband and with the passing of her mother she was running her old Café. She had been avoiding one person since she returned but tonight her luck ran out. Aiden Sinclair was sitting at the table of her best friend’s house I should have guessed as he was her brother after all.
“He was the thorn in my side.He was the only part of moving home after almost a decade away that I hated
He was dangerous.”
Could she keep her secrets safe about her past? A past that she could not recover from but had to for her daughter Maya sake.
Why did she hate me she was the one that left not me? Aiden wanted answers after all this time and he was determined to find them. But will this lead to him being happy with what he finds?
He didn’t react.
He didn’t move.
But I could see the shock and horror in his expression.”
“Don’t cry. Don’t let him see that you have emotions. Don’t let him see your weaknesses.”
I didn’t want it.
I didn’t want to feel it
I didn’t want to want him. And I shouldn’t after all these years.”
She was strong.
She was independent.
She was definitely resourceful and smart.
And I wanted her even more than I had when we were barely grown.”
I was FREE when I was with Aiden.
I was wild when I was with Aiden.
I was me again when I was with Aiden.

There’s nothing richer than a second chance in the steamy second book of New York Times bestselling author J.S. Scott’s Accidental Billionaires series.
Aiden Sinclair was a commercial fisherman before he suddenly came into his billionaire inheritance—not that he’s complaining. Being a Sinclair does have its perks. But things were simpler before the money. He may have been dirt poor, but he loved his job and fully intended to always come back from the sea to his girlfriend, Skye Weston, so they could move toward something more permanent. Or at least that had been the plan . . . until he returned from a two-month fishing trip to discover that she had moved away and was marrying somebody else. It tore his world apart.
Now Skye’s back in town after nearly a decade. She’s a single mother and just as beautiful as ever. However, for some odd reason, she appears to hate him, when it should be Aiden who wants nothing to do with the woman who dumped him. Unfortunately, more than nine years of separation has done nothing to put a damper on their white-hot chemistry when they’re together. But even if those feelings are real, Skye has been keeping secrets. The truth of the past is about to come to light, and there is so much more at stake than just Aiden’s heart.
